Oft-inspired by the ever-changing landscape of the Florida coast, where nature and regeneration are central to ORI's practice.

Kate Andersen, director of ORI, is an interdisciplinary artist and designer with a background in storytelling, communication, and design, as well as a passion for regenerative ecology. She views design as a tool to affect both individual and collective “orbits,” the shape, energy and power that they hold.
AURA, INTIMISM, and MUNDA.
Three spheres of influence // orbital shells // where the studio focuses its practice: ourselves, our homes, and our communities. Each of ORI's designed objects, installations and experiences invite utility or learning, as well as beauty, connection, and careful experience.
